How to Watch SilyaTV IPTV on Samsung and LG Smart TV

Get SilyaTV running on your Samsung and LG Smart TV in about 15 minutes.

Most Samsung and LG Smart TVs from the last few years can play SilyaTV directly, with no extra box. You install an IPTV player from the TV's own app store and sign in with the details from your email.

What you need

  • A Samsung Smart TV (Tizen) or LG Smart TV (webOS), ideally from 2018 or newer
  • Your SilyaTV login email
  • A stable internet connection (cable is better than Wi-Fi on TVs)

Set up SilyaTV on Smart TV, step by step

  1. Samsung: press the Home or Smart Hub button and open Apps. LG: press Home and open the LG Content Store.
  2. Search for an IPTV player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U login, and install it.
  3. Open the app. Some TV apps show a device ID or MAC on the first screen: you only need it if the app asks you to activate it on its website.
  4. Choose the Xtream Codes login (it may be called “Login with Xtream”, “Xtream API” or “Username and password”). Enter the server URL, username and password exactly as they appear in your SilyaTV email. If the app only accepts a playlist link, use the M3U link from your email instead.
  5. Let the channel list and guide finish loading, then pick a channel.

Any IPTV player that supports Xtream Codes login works. Not sure which app to pick for your device? Email [email protected] and we will recommend one.

Tips and fixes

Can't find an app?

App stores differ by country and TV year. If your TV's store has no IPTV player, a Firestick or Android TV box is the easiest fix.

Picture stutters

Plug the TV into the router with a cable. Smart TV Wi-Fi chips are often weaker than a phone's.

Restart helps

If the guide is empty, close the app, unplug the TV for a minute, and open it again.

Questions about this setup

Do I need a box for my Samsung TV?

Usually not. If your TV's store doesn't offer an IPTV player, add a Firestick or Android TV box.

Does it work on Hisense TVs?

Yes, see the Hisense guide.

Can I use the M3U link?

Yes. Your email includes an M3U playlist link and an EPG link for apps that use playlists.
