MAG boxes don't use an app or a password. Instead, SilyaTV activates your box's MAC address on our portal, and you type the portal URL into the box once. After a restart your channels load automatically.
What you need
- A MAG box (MAG 250, 254, 256, 322, 324, 349, 351, 420, 424, 520, 524 and similar)
- The MAC address of your box: it is on the sticker underneath, and starts with 00:1A:79
- Your SilyaTV email with the portal URL
Set up SilyaTV on MAG box, step by step
- Find the MAC address on the sticker under your box. On the SilyaTV site, choose MAG box and enter that MAC address when you start the free trial or buy a plan. We activate it automatically.
- On the box, press SET (or Setup) on the remote, or open Settings from the home menu.
- Go to System settings › Servers › Portals.
- In Portal 1 name type SilyaTV. In Portal 1 URL type the portal URL from your SilyaTV email, exactly as written.
- Press OK to save, go back, and choose Restart portal (or unplug the box for 10 seconds).
- The SilyaTV portal loads when the box comes back on. Open TV to start watching.
Tips and fixes
“Your STB is blocked” or “not authorized”
The MAC address on the order doesn't match the box. Check the sticker again (0 and O, 1 and I are easy to mix up) and email support with the correct MAC.
Renewing
Buy a new plan with the same MAC address. The time is added to the same box; you don't need to change anything on the box.
New box
A new box has a new MAC address. Email support and we will move your subscription to it.
